wir haben von Herrn Dietz (Vorsitzender des Deutschen Nationalkomitees der International Union of Biological Sciences (IUBS)) folgende Informationen zu Veranstaltungen erhalten:

Die IUBS (co-)organisiert zwei kostenfreie online-Veranstaltungen (1) eine fünftägige Tagung zur Biodiversität und Nachhaltigkeit und (2) einen Vortrag von Dr. Jane Goodall über ihre Arbeiten an Schimpansen. Erstere Einladung  mit den Terminen 13.04., 15.04., 19.04., 21.04., 24.04. erreichte uns sehr kurzfristig. Sie müssten sich bei Interesse registrieren. Dies erfolgt tageweise und nach Ihrem Interessen beliebig.

                                   BREAKOUT GROUP 2: The current landscape of renewable energy technologies and applications, and its impact on conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity

21 April 2021:       SESSION 4: Links between loss of biodiversity, climate change and zoonotic diseases

(2) IUBS Centenary Webinar Series: Lecture 3: Dr. Jane Goodall "Gombe and beyond" am 27. April 2021 um 1:30 GMT (3:30 CEST)

To commemorate the completion of 100 years of promoting excellence in biological sciences, the International Union of Biological Sciences (Öffnet externen Link in neuem FensterIUBS) has launched a webinar series.The third lecture in this series is by Dr. Jane Goodall DBE: Founder, The Jane Goodall Institute & UN Messenger of Peace.
 on 27th April 20201 at 1:30 PM GMT.
Dr. Goodall, a well known ethologist, will talk about the research that she began more than 60 years ago, which is ongoing today into the lives of the wild chimpanzees in Tanzania’s Gombe National Park.
